Biography of Andrea Kerr
Throughout my adult life, I have consistently looked for ways to improve the lives of others through my work. From being an elementary school teacher to having a real estate investment company that focused on turning tenants into homeowners to being a Private Wealth Advisor, I continually strive to make people’s lives better for having worked with me.
Following the 2008 market collapse, I began seeking alternative ways to invest my money to reduce my exposure to the public markets and increase my holdings in tangible assets. I co-founded a real estate investment company in 2010 but was dissatisfied with not being able to use the funds inside my RRSP to fund additional purchases and continued seeking options. Upon learning about private placements offered through Exempt Market Dealers, I knew I had found the alternatives I had been seeking and got training to share these opportunities with others. Almost a decade later, I am increasingly passionate about providing education to expand my clients’ awareness about investment options beyond the public markets, strengthening their overall financial knowledge and empowering them to make better financial decisions. In 2016, I became licensed as a Life Insurance Advisor to better meet my clients’ financials needs. This year, I started Flourish Financial Solutions to help people grow and protect their financial futures. I want to help people protect their wealth so they can live their dreams!
I am a mother to two incredible children, Simon and Sophia, who keep me running all fall and winter between their hockey and ringette seasons and other school activities. I have a passion for the outdoors. I love hiking, kayaking, camping, collecting rocks and walking my furry mutts, Max and Gibson. I am also currently serving as Vice President of the BNI Queen City Chapter.

I completed my Education Degree with a minor in Ukrainian from the University of Alberta after two years of Arts at the University of Saskatchewan.

Grade 5 Teacher. I Taught everything from Kindergarten to Grade 8, including French. I worked at High Prairie School Division #48 and Regina Catholic Schools.
